FEATURE FILM PRODUCTION: 

 

Our company can shoot both Indie Style Films and Nollywood Style Films.

We are mainly an inhouse production company when it comes to feature films, but we will occasionally partner with another company on a project, where the project falls under some of our topics of interest.

 

 

 

For Nollywood style films shot in the US, African Pictures is capable of shooting a high quality international standard Nollywood style Film for the client. For an additional cost, we can also handle casting, location scouting, and crew hiring.

 

We have the following cameras at our disposal, to use for your films based on your budget : RED CAMERA 1, RED EPIC, 5D CAMERA, 7D CAMERA.

 

For an extra fee, we will doctor and develop your script. This service also includes proof-reading and one rewrite. We can also create a poster for a small fee.

 BASIC PACKAGE: For only $1500, you can get  a 3 package light setup, camera setup (T2i, 7D, 5D) , sound, a 4 man crew, basic apartment location, crafts and catering.

 

For a small price, you can add the following perks:

-Add makeup artist ($150)

- Hair stylist ($150)

- Red camera ($300)

-more locations (price depends on location)

-spx makeup (based on project)

- Dolly and jiv arms ($200/day).

DEMOREEL PRODUCTION:

New in town? Fresh out of acting school? This is the place for you!

You've taken all the classes, printed headshots, now what? API has just what you need! A professional reel to set you apart from thousands of amateurs walking about town. Check out our packages; these are all at a price YOU can afford!

 

BASIC PACKAGE: For only $500, shoot a demoreel Close Up (C.U), for a 1/2 minute scene in one location. This is ideal for young actors with nothing on their reel. The amount of time needed is 3 hours. 

 

SIMPLE PACKAGE: For $1000, we will shoot you one scene from  a movie, 4-6 hour shoot with a  5d/7d camera  and editing. If you want to upgrade to a Red Camera, it will cost you a little more.

 

DELUXE PACKAGE:  After a setting up a meeting with you, we will write up a customized scene that best shows your strengths, shoot on the red camera, and edit your reel to look like a scene from right out of a movie.

 

*Each customer has a limited amount of changes per reel; i.e 1 rough cut,  which will be sent to client  for review, requested changes may be made then a final cut.

 

An extra fee applies forextra for re editing.

For an extra fee, we will also give you a 30 Minute Prep/ coaching session to get you ready for your scene.

TRAILERS

 

We will cut your trailer for YOU, in a way that is short, sharp and audience grabbing. Leave it to us, to tell YOUR story while invoking suspense, thriller and action in the minds of the audience.

We offer several packages, for you to choose from:

 

SIMPLE PACKAGE:  You come up with your concept, we edit the trailer for you using Final Cut Pro and its a wrap.

 

DELUXE PACKAGE: We set up a consultation meeting with you to discuss your wants and needs, and based on that, we work with the client (you) to design the concept of your trailer, and edit it for you.

 

For an extra fee, we will color correct the trailer for you.

 

All prices depend on the needs of the trailer, but our usual flat rates are:

 

$12/ hour; $1500- $3000 per week: Editing 

$100/ 2 hours                                     :Trailer development/ Consultation fee

$250                                                     :1 minute piece of editing

SHORT FILM AND VIDEO PRODUCTION

 

We got just what you need for your short projects. We handle Short film production, webseries, PSA, commercials, Youtube Videos, pilots, Talkshows and Kickstarter videos.

 

For our shorts, we offer the following cameras, based on your budget:  5D camera and the Red camera .

 

For an additional cost, we can doctor your script, handle casting, location scouting, and crew hiring for your production.

 

If you also interested in concept creating, that is a service we offer an extra fee.

 

Our average rate per episode/ day is $1500, but it all depends on the complexity of your project and what will be needed.
